It was a cold cold day in november of 2004. Our football team was in the Midwest youth football championship in Wales, Wisconsin. Our bracket consisted of 4 teams, so that means that if we won our first game we would play the next morning for the championship. Going into the tournament, everyone kinda wanted football to over because we were already started with school ball. But we were still excited to play. Our first game was against a team from Green Bay with kids that were a lot bigger than us and we were very intimidated. It ended up being probably the best game we have ever played as a team and shocked Green Bay by beating them 20-16. We won the next day 28-8 for the championship but the game against Green Bay was one of my favorite memories of my life.
