This is the transcript of an email I rec'd from a friend of mine who is, well, crazy. He goes by the name of Chunk Sinclair, though that is a pseudonym.

“The True History and Story of the Internet” by X. "Once upon a time there was NO net. Then someone invented a fishnet and then there were one helluva lotta of fish net. Then somebody else invented a hairnet and soon afterwards there was one big pile of dandruff-riddled hairnets!!!! Then someone else invented a butterfly net and soon there were millions of trapped butterflies crappin’ all over the damned planet!!!!!! Then some other dummy came up with the idea of an Internet and he invented one and made one, then billions more. Now in spite of efforts to stop this pollution, there are Internets all over the planet with all kinds of crap available all over the damned planet. Most of the stuff on this Internet can be shoved back down into the gold-lined septic tank. The end of a one helluva beautiful story by X as dictated to Chunk Sinclair on Chunk's deathbed.”
