I was waiting in line infront of my grade 4 class smiling up at my teacher. Someone was whispering in his ear the news. My teacher gave me a look of fear and then I realized something terrible had happened. I don't remember actually being told, I just remember realizing the world was falling apart that day.

When I was told though I know I didn't really react, I thought that it wasn't so bad. When my teacher looked at me as a kid I thought my dog must have died or something, but considering I didn't know the people who died I didn't care then. I do now though.
