Anatomy of a Bomber

"Oh, yeah. And he'll be wearing a double-breasted suit, buttoned." So an investigator on the case of the Mad Bomber said when the police went to go arrest a suspect in the bombings. Most of us know that the Mad Bomber's central attacks were on the power company nicknamed in New Yourk, Con Ed. He sent notes to Con Ed with the letters from the words cut from newspapers and magazines. And his name? George Metsky. But he wasn't stupid, and therefore went under the pseudonym F.P.

How Was He Caught?

So, how was the mad bomber caught? Well, one major reason was because of the work of Dr. James A. Brussel, whom was a psychiatrist. He said that the Mad Bomber was most likely a male, and that he built the bombs in his garage, or somewhere like that. Also, he said that the Bomber was most likely paranoid, and therefore, because paranoid males sometimes do this, probably lived with someone who would care for him, (i.e. his mother or sister.) All of this information turned out to be correct. Also, the quote at the top suggests that he would be wearing exactly what was said. And he was wearing exactly that, a double-breasted suit, buttoned, but not at that moment. He changed into that. That is simply because paranoids are usually very neat and tidy. When George Metskey was found, he happily greeted the cops, and even showed them his garage where he made the bombs.

Why he did it

This is a fairly short chapter. George Metsky simply did this because he was injured in a boiler explosion at the Con Ed plant. Also, not a single person was injured in the bombings, just some were hurt a little.
