Who: Jim Lockyer What: The limbo story When: 1952 Where: Hyattsville, MD
Having gone to catholic school, I can remember vivedly the first time a nun got really angry at me. I was in the 2nd grade at St, Jerome"s school in Hyattsville Maryland and I disagreed with her on the why and wherefore of "limbo". It seemed that babies not baptised went to limbo and could never know the glory of being with god. I was not buy this, and boy were they angry. As I went through grade school, this matter came up quite a few time. I never changed my position. It was simply rediculous. Limbo, what an outrageous idea.
Well after all these many years, lo and behold, the Vatican has decided to abolish limbo. Can purgatory be far behind? Another idea that I did not agree with and often got reprimanded for.
