I need to point out a perhaps unconscious error in Kim Chan article on “The last governor of Hong Kong”. The “One country two systems” was the brilliance original idea of a great man of China, Deng Xiaoping. With the “One country two “systems” policy and the “Basic Laws” which Hong Kong is currently operating, people of Hong Kong is allowed to preserve the western capitalistic society for another 50 years till 2047. Governor Chris Pattern was perhaps a more than happy supporter of Deng’s idea at the time.
