I agree. It would be nice to have a memory of the day on the site. Unfortunately I think we need to get a larger database of memories before we reach critical mass. Where are we advertising ourselves? Sr.Wombat 01:16, 4 April 2006 (CEST)

I like the simplified layout, but it would still be nice to have some immediate content on the Main Page, e.g. a memory of the day or recent memories. You can include a list of new pages like the one below, but I'm not sure if that is overkill:

This is produced via {{Special:Newpages/10}}, where you can choose any other number of pages. I could also install the DynamicPageList extension used on Wikinews to show the most recent memories in particular categories.--Erik 18:38, 17 October 2005 (CEST)
