I always remember the stories of my dad and his family taking trips down to Florida for their summer vacation. I can't even recall how many times I heard them say "Isn't that the time we forgot Laura" or "That's the time Pat was still in the bathroom." It took them a while to figure out that they forgot one of them because they had 7 kids. So they would be an hour away and finally realize they forgot someone.

Also there's stories like how my dad shot my uncle in the eye or when my uncle threw the anchor in the lake but he forgot to tie it off and my grandpa jumped in to try and find it because he didn't want to buy a new one. You don't know this but my grandpa always tries to save a buck. You know when you go to restaurants and see all those sugar packets, well my grandpa would take a big hand full and put them in his pocket. My favorite thing he did was one day we were eating eggs for breakfast and he pulled out really nice and fancy salt and pepper shakers. I'm like "Where did you buy those from" or "Where did you get those at?" His reply was "Ummm.... I found them at some restraunt in New York so I just took them." That's my grandpa for you, taking things so he can save a few dollars.
