Man, what a day. September 11, 2001 is definitely one i can never, ever forget. I remember that morning being in English class in Eagles Landing Middle School. It was just a normal day, and then all of sudden the tv turns on and i see a new bulletin that a tower in New York was struck by a plane. I didn't think of it as a big deal, but as the day went on, especially in my next class, I started to realize how tragic this event was starting to become. It was in my technology class, and I remember by friend telling me about the second tower being hit by a plane. I started to get a little worried, even though I lived all the way down in Florida. I was also really worried about my uncle who worked in the Twin Towers, but was luckily late to work that day. Around midday is when everyone started to head on home and call their families to be picked up from school. What a day that shook the lives of all us.
