It was 2005 and I was still livening in Philly. At the time it was just my mom, my grand mom, my brother, and me. My mom and my dad were not together at the time cause of a fight that they had about 5 weeks before this happened. I was over at my friend’s house, who was also my next-door neighbor. We were playing Halo 2 on my Xbox when his wife came up and said that something had happen to my grand mom. I ran back to my house only to see my grand mom on the ground and nothing but a pool of blood. She had fell down the steps and cracked her head open. When I saw this I could not move. It was like my world was coming undone. Next thing I know, I was on my knees crying. I had blanked out and didn’t know it. I felt helpless that I could not have done anything. Lucky my brother was home, so he took her to the hospital and she luckily lived. I will and can never forget what happen on that day.
