Who: Steve Sparks What: My trip to Orlando When: May 2006 Where: Ohio
Last summer my family and I went to Orlando, Florida for our family vacation.
We left Columbus Airport aboard a jet bound for O’Hare Airport in Chicago and then south to Orlando. We rented a nice little condo for 8 days, which was quite spacious for the family, although not spacious enough for me. My first experience in Orlando was standing in a nest of fire ants. After that I went to Sea World. I felt the manta rays, saw some manatees, watched the alligators, fed the dolphins and saw some dolphins going at it (Did you know that dolphins and humans are the only animals that do it for pleasure? Weird fact, but true,) watched the penguins, saw sharks and fish in an underwater tunnel, and ate some pizza. Then I went back to the condo and swam for a while. Then I went to Animal Kingdom. Saw the tree of life, went to DinoLand U.S.A. and had some McDonalds, then I went on a Safari and saw some Gorillas, Lions Giraffes and Rhinos, then I strolled over to Asia and saw some tigers, Komodo dragons, and giant fruit bats.
On a minor note, when we were heading back we got stuck in O’Hare Airport overnight. We would have had to sleep on chairs, but I went looking around and found some beds we could sleep on. I really saved the day. Anyways shouldn’t you be making your own memoirs, instead of reading other peoples? I’m just asking, okay.
