My Stupid Brother, 1990s, by Mollie Clements

Who: Mollie Clements What: Christmas Memory When: Christmas Where: My home in Kentucky
My favorite Christmas memory was when I was little, one year for Christmas I got a Barbie jeep and my sister got a Pocahontas bike. My brother thought it would be funny to ride them down the stairs. So first he got Haley’s bike and rode it down the stairs to the basement. It made a loud banging noise while he was going down the stairs and then he hit the wall. My mom got mad because he put a dent in the wall that is still there till this day. Every time I look at it I think about my brother bobbing up and down those stairs on Haley’s bike.
Then later that day we went out side to ride my Barbie jeep and my brother thought it would be even funnier to ride it down the concrete stairs. It turned out he was right. It was funnier. At first my mom told him not to because he would fall and hurt his self, but my brother didn’t listen to her. After he did it the tires were all scratched up because they were plastic, but it was worth it seeing my brother bob up and down the concrete stairs.
