On August 2nd, 2006, around seven thirty in the morning I was on my way to my first day of high school. I was going to be a freshman. I was a so nervous. So many thoughts running through my head: what if I don’t have any classes with my friends, what if the upper classmen pick on us, and what if I can’t make it to my classes on time? I can’t get an ico my first week of school. My parents would kill me! When I finally got to school my sister and I walked to the cafeteria lots of my friends were already there comparing there schedules. I set down and joined them. It turned out my best friend Courtney and I had all our classes together except two. Then those two classes were with my other best friends. I was so happy I had my friends in my classes. The day went on pretty good. We got locks, which I can never get open. We meet all our teachers, who all seemed pretty nice. And as the day went on none of the upper classmen picked on the freshman. Around twelve o’clock we ate lunch. I loved that they have fries every single day for lunch. As the day continued I got less nervous. For the rest of the day we went and met the rest of our teachers. And finally at three o’clock the dismissal bell rang and everybody finally got to go home. I am now in my 2nd month of school and I’m still loving it. It’s not as hard as I thought it was going to be. Now that I think back on that first day of school it was awful silly of me too be nervous.
