My memory is one that I will remember forever. Every time I remember this experience it brings me back to a happy place in my heart.

My memory takes place in Maui, Hawaii. It was a beautiful day. It was one of the most beautiful days that I have ever experienced in my entire life. I remember riding on the most magnificent catamaran that I have ever seen. It was very large and white. Steering us in the direction of our destination were these enormous sails. The sails held such great force and determination to shape the wind in any direction it wanted. There were two trampoline type areas at the front of the catamaran. I remember lying on the trampoline, feeling the cool water splash up from below me and having the hot sun beating down on my back. I remember feeling at peace, feeling like nothing else mattered. I felt that I was at my calm spot. I remember feeling that nothing could get any better than this. I was lying down and looked into the clear blue water that seemed to go on forever. I saw something swimming below the catamaran. I did not know what it was and then it hit me. This beautiful and graceful creature was a dolphin. More dolphins began to emerge from the water and began to swim as one large group. There were so many of them. I tried to reach my hand down to touch one of the dolphins, but it was to far away from me. I loved the look of these graceful creatures and the beauty that they radiated as they swam through the ocean. I remember thinking to myself that this was the best moment of my life.

Any time that I need a moment to break away from the stress of the everyday life I think about that one day in Maui, Hawaii.
