My cousin entered the Air Force my senior year in high school. I remember being shocked a little bit by this. She was around maybe 5'5, and was incapable of hurting anything. It's always interesting to talk to her, mainly due to the lack of things she can say. She is stationed out of Omaha, and she has served several tours out of Qatar. She is on flights that listen to different things on the ground. That's about all she can tell anyone. It's a little scary, knowing that she is flying over some of the most troubled areas in the world, but it makes me have incredible respect for her. One of my favorite memories was one Christmas, when I was talking to her about it, she told me how much she loved shooting the M16 on the range. It was absolutely mind-blowing to picture her with an M16. She also told us about survival camp, where they would be roughed up and interrogated in order to show them what it was like.
