My favorite and most remunerable event was when I built my own computer. With my birth day money I had a way to spend it of course but I didn’t know on what so my computer at the time was an IBM that was so slow it wouldn’t even play solitary. So I wanted a way to play all of the hottest games at the time with the money that I had had. So I had searched the internet and found a web site and it had every thing I needed and they where all at low prices and shipping was free too. So with the money I had I bought a motherboard, case, ram, hard drive, and everything else that I needed.
So with in the next week I was near my door the whole time I wouldn’t start the computer until I had all of the part at the same place so I could do it faster. So I remember that I had been putting every thing in order when I noticed that the case was cracked and it was a clear case so that you could see thought it. So I then had to send that back witch took about and 1 week to get in the I was so happy I put every thing to together and it looked so cool with the red glow behind it , and the clear side so you could see all of the components. I was downloading windows xp home edition and my hard drive all of a sudden started making a clicking sound and it was an odd sounding sound.
Then I called the company that had made the hard drive and they said that I would have to send it in for an replacement and it would take another week so within the long week, I was playing on my moms laptop witch so did like me doing so but she still let me do it anyways. Then I think it was on an Thursday that it had finally came it the first thing I remember doing was ripping it open connecting the cables to the hard drive and my hole computer all started up with the red glow in my face. Loading windows to my hard drive took about 2 hours while I was sitting next to it tamping my foot on the floor and I got the butterflies in my stomach. I was kind of like when we bought my four-wheeler. Then windows was done loading and you know that sound that windows dos when you start your computer up well it did that really loud and it woke up the whole family. Did I tell you that I was doing this at 2:00 in the morning.
The fist thing my mom did when I woke her up she starts yelling at me to get off her laptop but I told her that it wasn’t the laptop it my computer but she didn’t believe me so she had to go find her glasses and she came into my room and the only thing she said was “well that’s cool”. So the first thing I did to my computer was put my 11 GB of music on it witch took about 5 minutes. I had this game called swat 4 and it is an great game and I put it on there and played it for about 10 hours which I got yelled at every hour but it was worth it. All together I spent about $700 witch it was a very nice computer for the money. You should to buy all of the parts and I promise that you will have an fun time doing it and you will save a lot of money.
