Registering for classes can be very stressful and registering for classes for my last semester of undergraduate studies was no different. Trying to figure out a good schedule with classes and professors that you want takes effort, and with my last semester I had a couple more requirements in order to graduate. I needed to make sure that I registered for a 300 level course as an elective so I went through numerous descriptions about courses and none seemed to appeal to me until I notice a course about Contemporary Russian History. I thought to myself that might be interesting and it would be something different so I registered. First day of lecture was unusual, the professor told us that we were going to create a website which would allow for people to recount their life experiences and would be a global format where anyone could participate. I thought "where is the Russian history?" but then I remembered that I just wanted an interesting course and this seemed to spike my interest. Once we split into groups I realized that I would be doing a lot of work. I worked on our website daily because my tasks included categorizing each entry and hyper linking them to other sites. Obviously in order to perform well I would need to read each entry and that means that I have been exposed to almost every piece that is put up on this site. After months of working on this site, it has been quite exciting to see that other people have become interested in our goal and seeing people from various backgrounds contribute is rewarding.
