Hurricane Katrina didn't really affect my life, how it did most people, I didn't loose anything at all my family was really blessed..On the other with the no lights and water I thought my life was going to end because with no lights or water you really can't survive. Where I live at our street does flood but my daddy went the smart way and bought our house on a hill which I hate alot but it saved my families life.

Another thing about Hurricane Katrina is that it put alot of families out of there homes. My aunts house was flooded terribly her and her family had to go from our house to my uncles house for over two months, I didn't mind sharing our house with others because thats just the type of person I am..

This hurricane really did frighten me I didn't know what was going to happen, how my family and myself were going to survive or anything, but once we got our lights and water back on I was okay.Hurricane Katrina really did change alot of people's life I saw stuff after the hurricane that I never thought I would see.

People shooting people over water and food, people robbing grocery stores to feed their families, people not following rules, and the worst thing was Wal-Mart, not being able to just go in and get what you needed was horrible. At times I kind of was happy about the hurricane because in the long run it helped alot of people out with different things.

That's the way I feel about Hurricane Katrina and how it affected my family and myself.I was so terrified by this that until today I still have a bag that I keep with fresh clothes and shoes and other important thins that I would need to survive if another hurricane was to come to the Gulf Goast the way Hurrican Katrina did...
