There are many ways that Hurricane Katrina affetcted my life. For example our house got flooded, and we lost all our belongings. However the most important way the Hurricane affected my family and I, it brought us closer together.

Huricane Katrina left our lives in devastation. We Was in our house when it hit. Water was coming in and it scared me to death. I thought the water was never going to stop. Alot of our stuff was floating around. But we kept our heads up high. We got really close to some of our outside relatives because they helped us in many ways. We also helped them alot to.

I feel like Hurricane Katrina was a blessing in disguise in some way. Because we got our house fixed back up. People who needed help before she hit, had help after that. People who needed food got food with the help from the FEMA people. Hurricane Katrina harmed some people in many ways but Im glad that i am still living and that I am not harmed in any way.
