Hurricane Katrina What happened with during the hurricane

Hurricane Katrina affected me in many ways. One of those ways is how all my power got turn off and couldnt take a shower or bath even if i wanted to. I went with a shower for about 3 and a half weeks and the not incluing me getting in a ditch skin boarding if you count that. But anyways i had no food except for can food and fruit i had to go get MREs. And ate those dang these for about 4 weeks had MREs out of mhy ears and butt i ate them so much. And had no air conditnair i was hot and swety didnt feel good at all it was jsut a very bad time except for not going to school. And when i got to finaly take a bath it felt so good and i sat in it for about 40 mins. After that everyone started getting power back and about a week after power got back we were of to school. but i think it was a good exprince for me becuase i can see what a storm can do and i will never take one not serious. I thoght it was a joke and was it going to be bad but it was and was horible time for every one on the gulf coast. I think pepole didnt take it serious the past hurricanes were 3 and 4s but not bad and pepole didnt evacuate so pepole died. And pepole called the police and told them to send help but theyh didnt becuase they couldnt cuz the streets were flooding and told them that they shoudl of evacutated when they were told too. Thats whaqt happened to me during hurricane katrine the worst hurricane in my time.
