An Ipod is a portal music device which does not need the use of compact disc (CD) or a cassette. Another great feature of the Ipod is that it can hold hundreds of songs and it is easy to navigate through all the songs as they are categorized once they are downloaded onto the Ipod.

The Ipod is a great example of how technology has advanced and the fact that it helps to make your entire CD collection portable means that you can listen to it anywhere: commuting to work, while working out, or even at work.

The Ipod has been the dominating equipment for digital music. There are other devices which do the same thing however, the slick design as well as the white earpiece makes it look different. Also, Apple the company which has created the Ipod has created the Ipod mini (a miniture version of the Ipod), the Shuffle (which is a small device which wraps around your neck), and the Nano (which is like a Mini, only smaller).

Once I bought my Ipod, it changed my life. Obviously, it did not literally change my life but just having this amount of access to my music and being able to buy a new album and have it on my Ipod and within minutes I would be listening to it. The Ipod is a great piece of technology and once I acquired one, the only thought that was in my head was "Why did I not buy one sooner?"
