They say that each class loses someone before they graduate, for some reason I never believed that it would happen to our class or that I would be friends with the person. Natalie and I played on the same soccer team for about 3 years and she was a joy to be around, but it wasn't until sophomore year that we really became friends. I remember walking into Mr.Genova's Spanish 2 class and wondering who the heck i would hang out with in that class. On the first day, Natalie and I started talking and pretty soon that's all we did. Mr.Genova would call us two peas in a pod cause we were never doing our work. As the quarter went on Natalie and I shared a lot with each other. She was always someone that you could go to and she'd never judge you for anything. When I told her that my parents were making me get a job, she convinced me to apply at Menards...I had no intention of working there but she said they were hiring and so I decided to apply, with Natalie's help, I got the job. I remember I walked in my first day and I was so nervous and Natalie came up and gave me this huge hug and said we are going to have so much fun working together...and we did. If neither of us worked on the nights of the Front End Meetings, we would always drive to Menards together..blasting music and talking about life, guys, work, school..pretty much everything in general. She was known to people as the bubbly, beautiful girl who worked at the service desk, she could always make everyones day better by just smiling. Lots of people at work were completely shocked when she passed because she always seemed so happy..but deep down being friends with her, I knew her struggles. About a month before she passed away Natalie had been training me at the service desk, it was hard going up there after everything happened.there are still little notes that Natalie had posted about stuff like closing and certain items. There isn't one day that I'm not there that I don't think about her. She was an amazing friend and a great co-worker. I miss her each and every day. I hope she has found peace and is watching over everyone. I love you Natalie..Rest in Peace
