Hurricane Katrina wasn't that bad to me. I was alright because i already had everything I needed. I had food, batteries, flashlight, water, and a radio. I wasn't bored because I had company with me. My brother and I stayed with his dad at his house.
I was able to sleep alright with the noise. I was hot all day. The only thing we did was played games like monopoly and ate up everything in the house. We ran water in the bathtube before it was cut off. With the water we diped some in a pot and took a bird bath. After the disaster of Katrina went by and it was alright to take a drive. We drove around to look at the neighborhoods. It was a mess.
We also drove to Mobile to get some gas. We sat in a long line waiting on gas. We also traveled to a place where we was driving on the longest bridge I ever seen. After that we went to where my grandma was to see what they was doing and help them with the things that needed to be done. We cook for them. We talked about the hurricane. We also went to go see our friends. They was alright, nobody was hurt.
