I was in an awkward phase when I first entered high school. By no means was I a 'stunner' - with my pouffy hair and not-so perfect complexion. I moved to Canada only five years prior and haven't yet reached that confidence level that I longed for in my dreams. High school was as close as I could get to having a clean slate.
