Fishing, 2000s, by Lou T

Who: Lou T What: Fishing When: Few years ago Where: Philadelphia
A few years back when I was young I used to go fishing with my dad and grand pop. We would go down to John Heinz Refuge and catch catfish. We used to go all the time and it was so much fun. We would wake up early and pick up my grand pop, then we would go to the spot. The spot was our secret and nobody would go there. The fish were huge and we would just have a really fun time. I really enjoyed watching my grand pop fishing because he would have so much fun. A few years later he was diagnosed with Leukemia and became relatively sick. We would still go fishing but it wasn’t the same. Well shortly after he passed away, and it was really sad. I miss him a lot and I think this is the reason that I fish so much, because every time I go I think of the good times we had together. But now me and my dad are serious fisherman because of my pop. This memory is one I will cherish forever.
