When: 1999
Where: New York City

All through high school I was into musical theater, singing, dancing, etc. you named it and I did it. I had an agent in NYC and everything. I was really into it, and I would go into NYC various days of the week. Well, I finally got my first real job. It was Drew Magical Jukebox. Yes, it was cheesy but I got paid and enjoyed myself. Drews Magical Jukebox is those videos you find in party stores, usually at the register, with sing-a-longs and dance videos. Even if you go today you can still see my picture on the box. It is kind of embarrassing but cool at the same time. I remember going into my first job and having someone pick out my outfit do my hair, and my make-up. There was free food, dressing rooms, and a room for the parents to wait and watch what we were doing. The shooting room had 2 different sets. It also had a green screen, which was so cool! It was just so cool that I got to be involved in something so cool, and can still go back and look at it. We got to sing-a-long with these cheesy children’s songs while other people dressed up the other characters. It was so cool. The shooting lasted 2 days, and than it was done. There was even talk of it becoming a children's show on national TV. But, that never happened. I guess it would have been like a Barney type of show, without the Barney. It was so exciting when we were shooting and I was performing, with the director doing retakes and having to go back just so we could get it perfect for the camera, even though I'm sure they did a lot of editing. It was just so cool
