Dogs in a Bookstore, 2007, Anonymous
From MemoryArchive
Who: Anonymous What: Dogs in a Bookstore When: 2007 Where: Midwest
I was in a large bookstore in a Midwestern college town, right downtown. I saw a man near the magazine racks with four large dogs, two Labs, a Weimaraner and a mixed breed. The dogs were very well behaved and very friendly. People from all over the store gathered around them. They began to pet and play with them. I did too. A man commented to me: "Children come into bookstores and we pay no attention, but dogs..." That said something to me, and about us.
