Dinner at Coldstone, 2007, by Anonymous

Who: My friends and I
What: Our clumsy escapades
When: Summer 07
Where:

I was zoning the travel size toiletries when my friends found me at work. I had about fifteen minutes left of my shift and they planned to wait for me so we could eat dinner together. At eight, we left. My friends were in one car, and I was in mine and we were planning to eat at Noodles. I got there before them so I went inside to wait. I was reading The Onion when I realized it was taking them a while, so I called them. Apparently my friends didn't get the memo that there was a Noodles down the street from where I worked, so they had gotten on the Beltline to meet me at the one by West Towne. They agreed to come meet me there, but by the time they got back, the restaurant wasn't serving any longer. It was a Sunday and we were sick of trying to find some place to eat, so we just had Coldstone. It was a sticky summer evening and, although it doesn't sound like much of a memory, it was really fun to just sit around on the cold slabs of the picnic table and talk.
