Christmas Memory

My best Christmas memory is Christmas 2005. My mom was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis when I was about a year old. In 2004 she started the process of getting her knees replaced because she wanted to walk without pain. She started the first surgery right after Christmas in 2004 and she didn’t get to come home for over 2 weeks. When she recovered 4 months later she had the other one done and fully recovered just in time for Christmas 2005. She could walk without pain for the first time since she was 25. That’s my fondest Christmas Memory. My mom could actually walk.
