My Memoir
Christmas! It’s my family’s favorite time of year. You have the white crystal snow flakes and the smell of chestnuts roasting over an open fire. Ever year my family gets together and goes to my grandma’s house. All of my relatives love to come to my grandma’s house because they live in Florida and don’t have a chance to ever see snow. So every year all the people at my house my brother, mom, dad, and me pack up our snow gear and head off to my grandma’s house which is in the hill of Pennsylvania. After we all get their and have Christmas eve dinner we all go out in the back yard and roast chestnuts and sit around the fire that my family have each Christmas. Then on Christmas morning we go out under the tree and receive the presents we got that year. Then we have the exchange of gifts every year each person brings one gift and we exchange gifts. After that we go out and look at all the Christmas lights that had been put up that year. Then we go back to my grandma’s house and my grandma plays the piano and we sing Christmas songs. The next morning after Christmas we go out side and have our family football game in the snow. After a fun football game we go back inside and usually converse for a while sit down and eat the left over’s of Christmas dinner. Then we go back to the hotel. The next day every one goes home. This is one of my memories that I will never forget
