Beating Alex and Luke in Halo, 2006, by Beth Avis

One great obstacle I have in my life would definitely be trying to beat my brother Luke and cousin, Alex, in Halo. It is extremely difficult for me. We usually have teams and I get switched around from team to team because I can't do anything good! My highest score was probably about 23 kills! It may sound good, but it really isn't at all.
Luke and Alex are true Halo masters, and they have both beat the entire game. They are good with any weapon, and I can only get kills with a sniper or a rocket launcher (anyone can get kills with a rocket launcher!). It is very exciting and we have tons of fun with it. We even hook up the X-Boxs to two different TV's because there were many fights and arguments among my cousins about people looking on each other's screens! They are quite intense about this video game business, and since I am the only girl, I guess they look down on me or something. All I know is that it really stinks not to have good Halo skills.
One way I could beat them in Halo would be to have some kind of strategy. I am not sure what my strategy would be, and I definitely wouldn't post it on the internet even if I could think of one. I could practice a lot with Luke, but we don't have two X-Boxs when Alex isn't around, and he knows all the levels by heart, so he can always look off of my screen and cheat by finding out where I am in the level. It's not FAIR!
This is an obstacle in my life, and a few ways I can try to overcome it. Maybe if I watch Red vs. Blue more often it will magically get me more Halo skills. Go Donut! ... Yep. This is my main obstacle in life.
