On 9/11 I remember sitting in classroom and hearing the news of the first plane hitting the world trade center, being in New Jersey right across from The trade centers you could see everything...After the first plane hit no one thought anything of it, oh it was just a small plane, but little did we know a second one was on the way, after the second plane hit, everyone went in to a state of panic. Not even the school officials knew what to do, we had teachers leaving to go find their loved ones and students freaking out because they had parents siblings who worked in the buildings. Being a model I was supposed to be there that day. I was supposed to go in to the city right after the first plane hit, I called Ford, the agency, and they said not to go, and than the second plane hit and they closed all bridges and tunnels, which meant there was no access to the city except by boat, but they were being used to carry survivors over. No one knew what to do, the next couple hours everything was shut down and the national guard was everywhere, being a town where we host much of the water in the reservoirs we had people protecting our water source, and protecting our schools. It was an awful day and one that can never be forgotten. Not only did I have family friends who workd in the Number 7 building which later collapsed, but I had friends who had siblings who died in the attacks, and one of the people who was on flight 93 was our old wrestling coach at our school. He was the guy you always hear about saying "lets roll." 9/11 was just one of those days that I hold in my heart. People who weren't there to live through it have no idea what it was like, seeing it on tv and being there and going to the city after to see the lines of people and pictures of people who were missing was just devastating.
