On September 11, 2001 I was in my 5th grade classroom doing some work when the announcements came on. This was strange because they had already done the morning announcements. The principal came on and said that the Twin Towers in New York had just been attacked. After I heard this I didn't know what to do because I did not know what was going on. When I got home and turned on the TV I was scared because I knew America was right below Canada and I dident know if they were going to attack Canada. Now that im older I have a better understanding of what happened that day.
