I remember clearly when I first heard about the 9/11 attacks. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon and I was at a gymnastics class. All I heard was someone on a nearby radio say that the World Trade Center had been attacked. I didn't know what they were talking about so I didn't pay much attention. But when I got home my parents were watching t.v. and it didn't really sink in until the next day. Once I finally realized what had happened, my first question was, "Why? Who would want to attack us? We haven't done anything to anyone." But as time passed and I learned more about the attacks and the impact it was having, I realized that not everyone thinks the same way on certain issues and we as a country and a world need to be careful about what we do and what the impact of our decicions can be.
