On September 11, 2001 I was in my fourth grade art class, when another teacher came into our classroom and told my teacher to turn on her radio. We were all listening to the radio, and you could see the teachers face traumatically. All of us students, didn't know what was happening. When I got home after school, expecting watch some tv, all that was on was news about the attack. I was very frustrated because I couldn't watch the news, because i didn't understand what they were talking about, and the news was all that was on.
Now that I am older I understand the impact this had on the world, and why this happened. I feel bad for being so selfish when I was younger. I recognize the pain that family and friends had to go through when they found out that their loved ones wouldn't be coming home.
