Who: Hannah Findlay What: Terrorist Attack When: September 11, 2001 Where: New York City
I, along with millions of others in this world, will always remember the attacks on September 11, 2001. I was in 7th grade at the time, sitting in Mrs. Henningan's Science class. The loud speaker came on and informed us all of the horrible disaster. My teacher quickly left the room in fright and tears; Her daughter lived in New York City. The televisions were turned on in every classroom, and the attack was on almost every channel. Many teachers and students left school early to be with their families, and my teacher was able to get a hold of her daughter (she was safe). The attack stayed on the news for many weeks following, to the point where it was too disturbing to keep watching the occurence over and over again. it was a horrible day, and it will always be remembered.
